Important Lottery Registration Information
Please Read Before Registering!
You must be an enrolled, full University Programs &
Services Fee paid student to enter the lottery. The registration period is
from 8:00am Thursday, March 27, 2008 until 5:00pm Friday, March 28, 2008. Winners
will be posted on the web starting at 12:00pm on Saturday, March 29, 2008. You
will need to go to http://dos.utk.edu/ and click on “NCAA Final Four
Lottery Results” to find out if you are a winner. NOTE: The lottery will
be void if UT does not go to the Final Four.
Winners will have the option of purchasing two tickets. They
must present their UT ID to purchase the first ticket and the UT ID of
another enrolled, full University Programs and Services Fee paid student or a
valid Spouse Card to purchase the second ticket. (NOTE: A UT ID MAY ONLY BE USED
ONCE TO PURCHASE A TICKET.) The exact ticket price is not yet available. The price will
be somewhere between $140.00 and $220.00 per ticket (ticket includes all
three Final Four games). Payment may be made with cash or credit card (Mastercard, VISA, or Discover). No checks. Winners must
purchase their tickets at the Thompson-Boling Arena Ticket Office on Monday,
March 31, 2008, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and
6:00 p.m. Winners who fail to purchase their tickets during these times
forfeit their right to the tickets. Any tickets remaining at 6:00 p.m. will
be returned to the Athletic Department.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Students will not receive
their tickets at the time of purchase. Instead, they will receive a NON-TRANSFERABLE
voucher for the tickets. The ticket(s) purchased will be available for
pick-up at the Tennessee Will Call Window, at the tournament site. Exact
details regarding the process for picking up the tickets will be available at
the time of purchase. To pick up the tickets, the student who purchased the
tickets will need to present the voucher he/she received along with his/her
UT ID and, if two tickets were purchased, the UT ID of another full
University Programs and Services Fee paid UT student. (NOTE: A UT ID MAY
ONLY BE USED ONCE TO PICK UP A TICKET.)
SPECIAL NOTE: Please be considerate of your
fellow students and enter the lottery only if you intend to purchase tickets
if you are selected as a winner.
SPECIAL NOTE: The student ticket lottery
registration system requires use of your NetID and
password. The NetID is a logon that is standardized
for online services at the University
of Tennessee. It is
important to note: the NetID is NOT your Student ID
